@SLouis2001 Ok ... now that I have an explanation of what is referred to as RNG I can now relate. I am also reading ELF above.
I am not trying to tell him how to play but if he is using his 'stick' to direct his shots, I have found that if you use your entire controller rotated forward and back while you have your finger gently on the stick the shots become right on their marks as the finger then follows the controller rotation automatically. I cannot believe that I am the only one that has discovered this and is talking about it. Mishits are created by poor forward and back movements. If you are using your finger to move the stick forward and back ... good luck with your outcomes. Practice in Game Play.

LemonKid, thank you for your tip and your comment is bang on. Even had a few "Perfect" downswings. I don't know why I never thought of it as that is the way I have been putting. It is a very subtle movement but I have eliminated shots that are way off line. The swing is way better than 2K23 and getting close to my favourite swing which is RTSM in Perfect Golf. I have been playing with Hard difficulty for the swing and putting.

I posted a shot a bit ago where by I hit the exact same swing, exact same swing line and exact same overswing. And the difference was 10 yards

Everything in the swing has to do with tempo and and how you have your golfer's swing set up. If you first of all are not swinging the way your golfer is set up then you will end up in left field. To be able to swing correctly you must rotate the controller not try and move the stick up and down. Usually when a ball only moves ten yards or so it is because you have struck a tree. You will not always hear the struck tree but just see the result.
So ... please just inform us exactly how you set up a shot and how you then strike it. Next ... how is your swing set up for your golfer?- @LemonDropKid I’ve played golf games for 20 years played multiple golf games with RNG
