Maybe in 3 or 4 years when they're going to have another generation of consoles. 🤔

@SlimDown57I think she is too. They have those exclusive rights to all 4 Majors, and will probably want to keep them so 2K doesn't have them. Another guess, EA will do like 2K, having the game for this generations of consoles too. EA would easily more than double their sales. Both Katy and I have so many friends on 2K23 just because they didn't want to buy a new console.

Exactly Michelle, we have at least a dozen friends in 2 Societies in 2K23, it's all about either not wanting to buy a new console, or buying a PS4 to play golf because they were much cheaper than a PS5. And chatter on DIscord, 2K25 will also have the old ancient engine with the game looking like it belongs on PS3, and be available for PS4 and XBox One. Just no room for EA on this generation consoles only in this niche golf market.

You are spot on. By that time, EA might have moved on from the Frostbite engine. That new engine might allow the game to be more like TW14 with better graphics, or even better.

totally agree.
The month i spent learning how to play and be good at this game was one of the most rewarding video game experiences I've had in a very very long time.
The game is a gem and at the core gameplay is so good.
I really hate if EA is abandoning this because with just a few more tweaks - this would be a complete golf game. Or at least the next version could be complete if they ever decide to release it.
