@Kayser_Soze3Yes it's way better than 2k game. At the highest level of difficulty without all the helper you can have a simulation experience. 2k game is far from a simulation too by the way.

I would have to respectfully disagree... even at the highest levels of difficulty in EA PGA Tour it still plays like a arcade game.
There is a massive difference between the highest difficulties between EA and 2K.
And respectfully in my opinion 2K does a better job of representing the experience of golf over EA. Neither is perfect... but 2K is much better IMHO.
Though EA may have a better look and feel with the swing animation. The actual physics are much better on 2K.
@ELF014For me one of the most important thing is the graphics and it's why I like the EA game. After that I try to go back one time to the 2k game and the swing has a terrible look and feeling like if we are in a 10 years old game. I agree with the fact that 2k is harder but it is badly harder for me.
100% agreed!

And 2K is harder... but that isn't why I think it is a better game. I just ferl it plays more like the actual game of golf.
Real golf is hard to master... but relatively easy to find some success. And I think 2K does a reasonable job of representing this at the most difficult settings.
But to your point the swing in 2K is terrible, and I blame the content providers for this. They wanted a faster swing animation... well golfers all have different swing speeds and styles. And in my opinion having this accelerated swing took away the partial shots from the game.
AND.. without a doubt 2K's swing animation can be glitchy at times... where the swing animation speed is inconsistent from swing to swing. Noticeable especially when chipping around the greens.
The swing animation was much better in the previous versions of 2K's game.
For me the EA game with the physics from 2K would make for a pretty good representation of golf. Though neither have figured out how to do a ball drop yet.
Which is why I think the next 2K game may win this ultimate battle if EA doesn't step up and address many of their issues.
A graphics upgrade seems to me to be the easiest fix.

And every courses feel the same like they always did. Even the crowd are dead, the ball is going right thru them like they were not there. Although I suppose that's how some simmers like it as it has the same feel like the ball going over the hole like the hole is not there as requested in this game.
I was talking to 2 young women that I played with a few weeks ago. They were talking about the 2K23 game and one was saying they should have a warning on it that it's designed and for boomers 65+. They couldn't play it either as they thought the game was so boring and dead only their grandpas could play something like that. I thought they were a little harsh but could understand why they feel this way.
- @ELF014 I'm not a fan of EA or a haters of 2k, I will play to the best game on the market. If 2k come with a brand new game that is better that the EA one, I will switch immediately. The problem is that 2k23 is a modern game that doesn't show me modern graphics and modern animation. I don't know if you saw the upcoming top spin 2k25 game but the graphics show in the trailer are terrible and are alike of the pga tour 2k23 one. 2K doesn't seem to have a great game engine.
- @Katybee_1313 I found EA game too easy but I found the 2k one hard because it's bad feeling of swing.

And I am a tennis player and agree with you the graphics and animation of the players in Top Spin 2K25 are awful.
The strokes look nothing like their real-life counterparts.
It seems these days companies feel they can put anything out there and people will consume it.
I have already told friends I won't be buying Top Spin 2K25 and expect it to be discounted highly shortly after launch. It's not that there isn't a market for a good tennis game... this just isn't it.
But lets be honest... seeing what the Unreal Engine is doing these days... both these games are underwhelming graphically.

Hi @Kayser_Soze3, Out of curiosity do you say this based on how certain mechaincs work with PGA Tour or how the game visually looks?
