Tournaments that end in a tie. Playoff?

Question

First off, will there be a playoff if any tourney ends in a tie?? And 2nd, EA claims that its not possible, rights, legal..etc.. *snip* , tiger 08 and tiger 14..best golf game ever imo, had playoff formats for any tournament. And worked great. *snip* . And exhibit B, WHO *snip* WANTS TO PLAY a SPORTS game THAT ENDS IN A TIE??? whats next? Participation trophies.. *snip* ..i demand answer before i spend $600 on a new system and game? *snip*

In a recent dev interview from Operation sports it was confirmed there would be playoffs in Career mode

OS: In career mode, if you are tied for first place at the end of a tournament, will there be a playoff to participate in?

David Baker, Lead Producer (DB): Yes we have play-offs if the user is tied at the end of the round in Career Mode.

@Vesxies Just wait for the game to be released to make any decision to buy, that way you can make a properly informed decision covering this and other aspects of the game. @agentputt has though shared that we do know that we'll have play-offs in at least career mode.

Last game I remember that didn't have playoffs was TW10.
