Unable to connect to EA/PGA servers - NEED ASSISTANCE?

This game will never be fixed, every problem in this thread is a problem with the game and the devs/support people have blamed the customer base. EA are an absolute disgrace. 

I am having problems connecting to server to play masters edition golf game. I want to play it in career mode but the game won’t connect. I already changed my password and reset, still no luck. Why is this happening?

I just purchased this game and running into same issue. Tried all steps and doesn’t work. Tried to start a chat with help and it just vanished and no cases in the my cases view. Can someone help me get signed in to ea on the game?  Essentially can’t play without this. 

Crashing/Freezing during career mode. Will not let me play while connected to ea servers whatsoever just kicks me back out to the Xbox Home Screen with no warning or error code.

DATE THE ISSUE STARTED: and steps taken to resolve issue. 5/7/2024. I purchased the disc and installed it last night. It would not let me play while connected to servers and would kick me out to Xbox Home Screen. Made sure everything was up to date. Restarted system. Unplugged system. Cleared Cache. Cleared alternate MAC address. Cleared Persistent storage. Uninstalled disc and reinstalled it only to encounter the same problem. I returned the disc and then purchased the deluxe digital version through the Xbox store. Installed it and still having the same problem. It saved my character and player settings, but will not let me participate in challenges or any sort of gameplay online it kicks me back to the Xbox Home Screen with no error messages or warnings. Even did hard restarts on everything Xbox and internet. I even changed my avatar as some had suggested. The only way I can play is offline if I’m not connected to the EA server. I have never had a problem with any other game doing this. This is absolutely ridiculous. I can’t even do the challenges to learn how to play the game properly. It’s obvious that this is an EA problem as too many people are having the same issue apparently. 

Same issue.  I can't connect to the servers - just repeatedly given a link to reset my password.  The game is unplayable. Terrible.

Your friend is welcome to open a case with an advisor here. They also can start a thread here for assistance.

My friend and I both that the Steam version.  He is running Win 11 while I am running Win 10.    We have never been able to play more than a few holes online before he is disconnected.  In fact, the only way he can play the game is OFFLINE.  He has tried everything including one email replay for EA on the forum.  It is unbelievable that that this has not been fixed by EA since the game has been out since spring of this year.

Is there a chat line where he can talk to a person?  If not what having someone contact him by email since he has submitted numerous tickets.

He bought the deluxe version of the game and it doesn't work properly.  It shouldn't be rocket science for someone at EA to figure it out.

If someone from EA can reply to this post, I will forward any contact information to my friend.  Thank you.

i feel the excat same way ....and still have no answers from EA ..............did you ever get yours up and running for career mode ?

I have completely reloaded software and I think more often than not you just get lucky.  I put a new router on  and most problems went away again at least for the time being.  I swapped back my old router and problems came back. put faster router back online and with identical settings in router problem went away.  So with about 450 download and 24 MBS upload it has been working way better. faster connecting and pretty much everything responds faster.  Well that is until today after the latest patch was pushed down the pipe.  Everything was working fine and in the start of the "Final round" of the Arnold Palmer classic where I am in first place the flash screen of Bay Side Golf and country club comes on and it will stop the music and just sit there and do nothing until the cows come home.  I can go into everything else no problem, connects well etc.  Now I just cant finish my game. Of course when it gets to this point the game is completely locked out..This seems more like a software bug this time.   My consensus is that when there servers get bogged down and someone has a slower connection speed than the communication errors start.  You know if EA could get their massive amount of software and server bugs resolved they would have a good game but in all my many years I have never seen software (Microsoft aside) so full of bugs. This is supposed to be a relaxing game but today I spent over an hour trying to get it out of the frozen screen.to no avail

@NauntonDIt is an annoying thing alright but I thought that I answered this problem shortly after the game came out.

Here is the solution. Shut your device off. Unplug the device for about 5 minutes. Plug it back in and restart the game. Let it completely run through it's welcome screens. Then begin playing once again. Also when setting any game changes be aware of the lower right buffer circle that appears and always always let it complete before moving on. It only takes about 5 seconds max.

That is it. I think that the servers do get overloaded at times with the number of players. Be patient.
