Unable to purchase points in-game

hey what's up with the online store I am unable to to buy points always says there is a problem wit the server is that the only place to buy points or is there another place maybe somehow trough ...

    @EA_Illium Yep that was the issue I had the steam overlay turned
    off. thanks so much for taking the time and tracking down my issue.
