Broken Data Update - Can't play Arena or Penny's Pursuit

When I opened PVZ2 this morning to use my arena freeplay and beat this cycle's zomboss for seeds/gems, I got the in-game data update push, but every time I try to have it installed it stops and fails around 2/3 of the way through the installation. I saw this issue was happening about a year and a half ago, so it looks like it's a repeat of what was going on back then, with a timestamp in the data update being incorrect causing it to break.

I've attached images of where the download stops, and the message it displays once the download fails. For context I am running the game on a Google Pixel 8 Pro, this bug might be limited to Android currently but since I don't own an Apple device I have no way to know otherwise.
