Go to the loading screen and tap on the cloud icon.
You have to enter your email address (make sure Autofil doesn't add a blank space at the end).
EA should send you a code to your email, enter it and it should recover your account from the backup servers.
Takes a few minutes.

If you got the code and entered it correctly then your account should have been restored.
The only other thing you can do is to tap on HELP at the bottom of the page and make out a missing content report.
You will need the original player id number associated with your missing account, if you wrote it down somewhere or screenshotted it then great because if you lose your gamedata the game starts with just 4 plants and a different player id number.
If you have the correct player id number then tap HELP and go through the missing content option, hopefully they will manage to restore your account from their backup files. (May take a couple of days).
