How do I recover my progress on an android device with my player ID?

My android device decided to stop charging without warning. 

I was able to partially restore with what little power I had... I got a screenshot of my player ID. Logging back into the play store did not restore my progress... TBH, I don't recall if my current play store email is the same as my old one.  How do I use my player ID to restore my progress?
