Is it a bug, a glitch or just me.

I have been playing Plants Vs Zombies 2 for a couple of weeks now and I had  no trouble until I reached Zomboss Level of The Dark Ages world. I don't know who created this level but it is RIDICULOUSLY HARD AND IMPOSSIBLE it feels like a Glitch. I mean For Real. LOL atleast provide a couple of well placed Cherry Bombs or Potatoes. Seriously. How on earth are we supposed to kill the giants???? It's so FRUSTRATING. I have tried this level about a DOZEN times now. I've even watched a couple of walkthroughs JUST to get an idea. It isn't impossible as what I am playing. I am really FED UP. At this point, the ONLY THING keeping me playing the game are the events. Monthly events. I thought I was enjoying the game I didn't even feel bored but this. Sheesh enough to put me off the game completely. Please FIX this glitch.
