Long past loss of data

A very very long time ago, my game started over. At the time I just figured I’d catch up by playing. Unfortunately, I became very frustrated and just stopped playing. Now I keep trying to get back to playing, but still get frustrated at all of the plants I used to have and the experience levels they once were at. Is there any way to recover my past game from years ago?
