My resources in PVZ2 starts to multiply then crash itself?

Long story short, I was playing the game normally then log off for few hours and when I came back to play the game, my resources just multiplied (including coins, gems, mints, sprouts, fuels, and even points in arena) and when I close the app then return to the app, its just keeps multiplying.

Few hours passed after I played the game then I take a break and when I reopen the game, the game is now crashing and won't let me play. I keep repeating like opening the app and still, it keeps crashing like it wasn't supposed too. I am playing in a really old phone (Version 8.1). I swear I did not cheat as cheating is unethical, maybe it's my phones fault? or maybe it's the servers fault? Please help me.

This happened so suddenly and I am so lost right now as this game is my childhood as I started playing like 6 years ago and this account I've been playing for 4 years and now I can't even play it. What now?
