I have an old iPad that I cannot update anymore and I need to transfer the PvZ2 game data from that one to my new iPad. I have the Player ID for the original game and the one for the new iPad. The last time I took a screenshot my player id was more than a year ago, and I wanted to know if that mattered? Please advise and thank you.

The easiest way to transfer your progress between devices is to link your account. Then you can just sign in with the same account on your other device and your progress will carry over.
I do not have that option, as I have my original player ID but I do not think it was (ever) linked at the time. As I have had the account (original game account) a lot longer, before linking was really a thing. I need someone from EA to manually link them for me. I have the player ID for the original and new iPad device game now. I need the original Player ID transferred to my new ID and it is not associated with this account.
I submitted a case, but they keep saying solved and closed, when the same issue still persists. I was hoping to play but it has been a few days now and no response.
