Preventing Account from Being Hacked Again

Hey!

My Plants Vs Zombies 2 account has been hacked into by other people recently and there have been 2 or 3 instances of the hacker(s) deleting all of my progress.

I’ve managed to get it restored via EA Help in the past, but I need help to make sure this never happens again.

I have changed my Apple ID password twice but that didn’t work.

Anyone here have any ideas?

  • Why do you think it was hackers?

There have been many instances of players losing profiles because of crashes and software problems and you are the only person that says hackers did it, this forum is full of players complaining about lost profiles.

You can get EA HELP to change your player i.d. number just by asking them to change it.

We always tell players who publish their player i.d. numbers on a public forum to take it down and get a new one in case hackers do hijack their account and i hope you don't post it online to make it easy for them.

Always keep a record of your player i.d. number anyway as EA HELP need to know who you are if your profile needs to be restored.

If your apple account has been compromised you might be better off contacting apple and asking them for help, they would be far more knowledgeable about hacking problems than us or EA HELP.

They have been changing my username and adding new profiles, etc.
    It has to be hackers

I'll see if I can get help from EA
