@linuxPigPen   Apart from Chance to Boost (with plant food effect when planted) some mastery plants also have Damage Pierce.

This is the permanent damage increase for usage in in Battlez/Arena, Penny's and Adventure.

(The nerd details. 

Formula for this ability is  Mastery level x 0,5%. where the Max increase is capped  at 100% bonus damage.

So generally, the higher the mastery level, the more powerful the plant becomes.

Thanks to your strategy, after further fine tuning (the 7th time), below is the highest score I get so far, I guess this should do justice to my high level mastery plants and not just narrowly higher than my level 8 ones.. 👿

@linuxPigPen   With your score I think it will be more than enough to win a 10 win streak. 

May I ask how did you use your 3x plant foods?  I ask because with high level or mastery plants, you should not be requiring the use of plant food during the initial setup or in mid game, please try save them for the last 15 seconds where you are likely to have high ZDL big Gargs entering the Arena and I am sure you can break 6M with a good RNG.

I'm a get a little better. 6.5 ! Now getting 6+ more often. The 2nd pic I actually beat someone with same strategy who had way higher plant levels. I use PF when I hear the big wave ding.

I did not have time to try out your MGP strategy with my mastery plants last night but luckily a forum member from subreddit  (rackman70) did the honor.  He utilises your MGP and my Shine Vine and produced an outstanding score just short of 7M.  I think your expectation of 7M+ is achievable with a very good RNG after all.

Note to self, need to find some spare time tonight and try this out with my mastery plants.

@eieio_31310 Thanks for sharing. Great to know that. I did not break 7m yet but barely 6m900. Random boost chance is not controllable. But if there are some MGPs boosted in the last few seconds, the score increases a lot.

That was my initial finding as well which was the reason why I went back to Threepeater because it was more predictable and controllable.  But Both @ImNoob2009  and Rachman70 seems to have found MGP can achieve great scores, I really need want to find out this myself.  I am taking an extended lunch this afternoon (which is about an hour away) and will try to squeeze a few games in with MGP and see if I get get some reasonable scores with my high mastery plants. 

Will post back in about 2 hours time.

Managed to to play a 7 win streak, 6.1M is the lowest for high mastery plants, it averages to 6.3M and my best three scores out of the 7 games are below, this is me done for pre-boosterama, sadly there is no 7M or even 6.8 from me.  ☹️

@eieio_31310 @HenryThePear RNG may affect the results. Perhaps for high level mastery, you can try to fill the lawn by pea vine and stickybomb rice firstly then MGPs just after Gargantuars appear. And plant food to kill 2 Gargantuars (a wave).

That was exactly what I did after the first game as I found out from the first game that the combined attacking force was too great and it created quite a few big gaps with no zombies on the lawn, I actually had to dig up Pea Vines from the Torch Woods and MGP to keep the zombies present and adding back the Pea Vine at a later stage (towards the last 45 seconds)

Week 237 Boosterama.

It took me more than a few attempts to finally get the right balance for 7M+ scores.  The problem with my M1 plants is that they are too strong at the start and too weak towards the end of the match.  By adding a second column of boosted Torch Wood towards the last 45 seconds seems to have done the trick.   👿

(It would have gone a little higher had I not missed out the use of my final plant food)

Update:  I did get a higher score once my plant food timing was corrected.  Having seen 7.6M has been achieved by Rackman70's higher mastery plants, I believe 8M is possible with M200 plants, maybe with double Imp Pears.

Week 238 pre-boosterama

My best so far, aim is 4.9M as I have seen a few players reaching this already, might be 5M is possible.

Managed to break 4.7M after so many tries! 

It is a lot easier to break 5M with boosterama.  I hits that twice in 7 games.

I can get 36m+ with bowling bulb, don't know if that's good yet.

I think getting the zomboss score to flip 34x is the maximum for this tournament and this is around 29M, the additional scores are made up by the other zombies, so the higher ZDL you can get the more you will score.  

I have seen a few 39M+ scores achieved by some YouTubers (who also have a reputation of modifying the games mechanics) so I am not sure how true or easy it is to reach this score.  

Have you tried putting Imp Pear on the power tiles?  These power tiles lasts about 10x each so it should be enough for the whole duration of the match but it requires repeatedly digging up of Imp Pears and I did not find this entertaining for turbo play.

I just played a couple of games using imppear on the power tiles, i could still only score 36m+
