Restore Purchases Bug?

Yes this is an old bug, it pops up now and then way before 2019 and not yet fixed.  There has been a workaround, the next time you want to check the shop, turn off your internet data and WiFi (or enable Flight Mode) on your gaming device and it should let you bypass this endless Restore Purchases loop.

@RachaelSusie The restore purchases bug has been round for a few years and was a minor annoyance that eventually just disappeared of it's own accord.

Now it seems to have turned into something nastier with players reporting constant crashes and makes the game unplayable.

EA should put some dev time into fixing long term bugs.

It seems like they are tinkering with the store to make it so you can't repurchase anything to prevent super leveling of plants. It's always their interests over stability.

I thought the last introduction of +3 gems increase per purchase (and with the maximum cap at 80) is working well.  To me it seems fairer that it allows players with limited gems to upgrade their new plant to a almost mid level while restricting gems rich players to maxed out their plants to M200.  

However, this only applies to players goes by the rule as I still see players hosting on YouTube using Mastery plants within days of first release.  

It’s not minor for me - driving me bonkers! It happens every time I open the store..

I agree, but the reward of the duplication bug has been out a while now and they should have already taken care of those players by now. I mean how hard is it to spot Millions or Billions of currency in profiles?

@RachaelSusie That's probably because you opened PvZ2 when Airplane mode was on. Try the following steps:

1. Open the game and log into your account with WiFi turned on
2. Turn Airplane mode on (do not force-close the app)
3. Enter the shop
4. Turn Airplane mode off
