Restoring Black screen

Had to reinstall PVZ2 with constant freezing. My ID came back but none of my points. I registered the account following the YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6X_EnMKZ5Zo I got to the page confirming which account, only account,( 5:44 on the video). When I clicked on it the screen goes blank/black. I never get back to the page that says that I'm registered. I let it alone for 10 minutes with no change, just black screen. I have to force stop it and then when I start it again its back at the page asking me to confirm which account. I uninstalled it and reloaded from Google and this time it had another ID but when I tried to register it the same issue happened. Which account, then black screen. Android v15 One UI 7.0

Any body got any ideas. My son has 1000's of hours and $ on this game?
