Some ideas for rescuing plants
Based on what we already know about future content, how can there be inconsistent formulas that result in specific plants? This is a genuine question, among many that have come to mind in recent months, since it seemed more reasonable that there would be some kind of base plant inspired by something closer to those iconic plants from the classic series so that things like this would happen more naturally! But most are okay, they seem to follow a kind of logic... I guess. 🥀
Since then, I've considered several replacement options in the comments I've posted, and I confess that some of them may not be so good, since not everything seems replaceable by something that already exists. But just as you persevered until you got it right, I intend to continue suggesting my ideas. 👀
• 🌿🍉🍎🍐 Splash Damage 🍐🍎🍉🌿
📂📌 What comes to mind most when I think about this ability are fruits like watermelon, jackfruit and even something like a tomato; a base plant inspired by them could cause splash damage that would leave a sticky residue.
• ☁️🍃💨🏵️ Gas Cloud 🏵️💨🍃☁️
📂📌 Stallia would be the best option; perhaps it could gain an extra layer of ability in its higher tiers, such as creating clouds that take a long time to dissipate, like a Noctarine.
• 🌿🍄🧅 Bouncing Projectiles 🧅🍄🌿
📂📌 So, I see that the best base for this type of ability would be to create a new plant inspired by Frizzle Sizzle, which would work very well as a base because it has natural leaf characteristics that resemble springs and also a bulb. This seems quite interesting, since it resembles two plants that exist in PvZ 2, Bowling Bulb and Spring Bean, which share similar abilities, something that could be used in fusions that would inherit abilities that can make projectiles be deflected and bounced in other directions.
• 🎉🪅 Zone Controller 🪅🎉
📂📌 Projectile dispersal isn't a very explored ability in PvZ, at least I see it more frequently in some mods where certain plants don't follow a linear firing/throwing pattern. But, for me, that's one of the things that differentiates it in terms of ability; it would be cool to see more of that in PvZ 3, using Pomegranate as a base, considering that one of the best examples we have of it is one of the plants from the Chinese version that fires projectiles in a cone-shaped area, dealing more damage when a target is nearby, like Pam does in Brawl Stars.
📂📌 The base plant's abilities could be similar to those of Bombegranate, but focused exclusively on dispersing the projectile when it falls.
I'll continue with the second part soon. 😶🌫️
