Can we buff Cirton?

I've wrote about this before, and I will again.

Citron is in desperate need of a buff. I have used him since day 1 of the open beta and release, and through all of the balance changes made up to date, I still think he needs a buff after the nerf he got post-beta. At the moment, you go into practically any mode and you will just get absolutely demolished or running for your life praying that you can survive. His primary weapon is unreliable at close range, making him easy to kill by at least 3 zombie classes(Imp, Scientist, Super Brainz), and he can't even perform his role as tank because his shield only gets 75 hp, and in this game health goes by really quickly. Because of this, the 200 hp plus the 75 from the shield every 30 secs(or more likely as he is now death) isn't that useful to him. I also think that he originally got nerfed the way he did in the beta because teams were stacking him because he could actually counter the teams stacking imps. While I agree with nerfing the overheat on his weapon, I don't agree with nerfing the part that put him in the role of tank in the first place. I suggest that if they want to keep as a tank, they could buff his shield back to the 100 hp it had in the beta, or maybe upgrading his damage slightly(probably by like 1-2 extra damage) so he could defend himself better. I have quit playing GW2 since Imp got a buff, because it just hasn't been enjoyable to have my favorite character in the game not be in anyway viable, helpful, or fun to play. It might just be the Imp buff, but I just want to be able to play the game again and have it be a fun use of my time.

I don't know what you're doing, but Citron is very strong against the three Zombies you just listed. The Orange Beam has a high damage outpout and the Shield, while useless at blocking high damage explosives can be a pain to deal with, as you need to hit and destroy it while the Citron has splash damage. Your trusty EMPeach can turn every gunfight into your favor or buy you time to esape. The Spin Dash, while useless at anything else, is good at damaging a Scientis/Imp, so you can follow up with an EMPeach and kill them if they still live. (Pro-tip: get out of ball mode, wait a second, press the trigger once and you can immediatly use your abilities)

Learn the character. Citron is powerful. The only thing that could receive a small buff is the shield, as they nerfed it a bit too hard.

I've only played Citron for about 17 hours so far. And yet the vanquish ratio is at 2.7. Far from weak.

  • the only Citron that needs any help is electro, his normal shots are beyond weak.

  • Silly man, April Fools was a couple of days ago...wait this was an April Fools right?  I do agree with the post about electro, he is lame atm but I think the orange overall is in a good spot right now.

  • The only buff he might need is maybe making his skill come out quicker but otherwise he's fine. Remember that he have a splash in his gun which help alots at close range (expect for ice).

Also his shield is kinda bugged afaik. Which is probably why he tank less when he should

This is basically the TL:DR version of my rant. The shield needs more health and less of a cooldown for how the game is being played as of this moment. I feel like if that was the case, the rest of his kit would fall neatly into place. So this and also fix Gravity Grenades being able to instantly break your shield regardless of its health.

Regular Citron is perfect as is.  One of the strongest plant characters, honestly.  Ice Citron feels a little weaker, but all Ice characters feel a bit weak to me...  They are that way for a reason - they kill slower because they make the enemy unable to retaliate.  I'm fine with him as-is.  Electro Citron is a tough character to play, but can be really awesome in the right hands.  I might be ok with a slight buff to his uncharged damage.  I have not yet played party or iron Citrons.
