Hey everyone,
We're seeing reports on this and we need some information for the team. Can you reply back with the following:- Xbox Gamertag/PlayStation ID/Origin ID
- Which region are you connecting from?
- What is the specific error message you get?
- Where do you exactly get this error message? (Which mode/event)
- Does this still happen after rebooting your network? (unplug your modem/router for 5 minutes). Connection Troubleshooting
- Does this still happen after you power cycle your console or Origin if you're on PC?

Oddly enough it connected once and allowed for gameplay but then after exiting the game and coming back later to play again, it started failing once more.
I've tried unplugging my game console and my router. I've also tried uninstalling and re-installing the game and the problem is still there. I've also tried the North America east and west servers and it still won't let me play multiplayer. When I enter the multiplayer portal, it says "found best match", then after a while of it trying to connect, I get a message saying that it "failed to connect" or "my connection timed out."
I'm having the same issues as all these players commenting. Please fix this issue, I'd actually really like to play other game modes besides garden ops and the community event. Keep up the great work!

2) Europe (Just for info. Portal in Backyard gives access to all regions with the exception of USEC and USWC. See item 3. Portal in Town Hall gives access to all Regions)
3) Can't remember the exact message offhand, but in general terms, I get a message along the lines of "Found game", and after waiting a minute or two the message "You have been timed out"
4) Apart from Town Hall (which works) have only tried Mixed Mode for all regions with the exception of Australia where I (as the Aussies don't seem to play anything else but Turf Takeover) only bothered to (successfully) gain access to their Turf Takeover mode.

- I've rebooted, cleared cache, cold booted, rebooted router.
I also have "no news is good news" in my mailbox, this has been like this for a week.

Thank you for the info and regarding the mailbox, we've sent that up to the team to investigate. I'm afraid we don't have any news to share around that right now as well, but rest assured they've been alerted. 👍

Still haven't found a solution to this problem, eh?
I’ve been having the same problem. If I switch to Europe or Asia serves then it works but i lag so bad. North America East and West doesn’t work for the plants or zombies portal. I’ve tried restarting the game, deleting it and reinstalling, restarting ps4, restarting router, everything and it doesn’t seem to fix the issue. I don’t know what else to do, I really like this game but I cant even seem to play it which is a bummer.
