After playing 20 games to get the free plant hero, my game crashed after the match is over and I never received my free plant hero. I have been trying to contact the support for a while now and all they have been doing is telling me to keep beating the levels. I am now at the point where I got 5 zombies heroes and 2 plant heroes (since I never gotten my free hero) and they sent me to this forum today for help. Is there any way I can receive my free third plant hero? I have been trying EA help for days now and it is too late to reset the game since I am too far in the ranking system for zombie and I don't want to lose my zombies cards and heroes.

Yeah this happened to me too, but from what you said. Apparently they are saying that we should just keep on playing the game until we can get a new hero. That doesn't seem very helpful though considering that you already did the quest.

Yeah it doesn't seem like free hero quests happen anymore after a certain point...the same thing happened to me and I have yet to get another hero reward quest...

I also didn't get my free plant hero after completing the quest since my game crashed before I could select one.

Same happened to me but I didn't even crash... edit: Happened with my zombie hero selection too...

I also have not received my two "final Heroes" from quests, and started rather recently (two days ago). Nick in-game is "Traysheia". IF the time frame of this bug existing is any indicator, this issue seems to be inherent to the game itself, and is the result of pushing out a product before extensive Beta testing is done for events, updates, and so on. Code-strings break, especially when you are mashing so much into the game. Honestly, I'd be happy with just being granted the choice of two Heroes (one Plant, one Zombie). The gems aren't really important to me, as you can make those in-game.

And if I were to state it outright - I'd chose Rustbolt and whichever starting plant is NOT Spudow. I know he's good, but I'm not too keen on the "Tater-head".

I played pvz heroes for a long time before my account got reset when I upgraded my phone, and I can assure you the quests to unlock heroes is a one time thing, after the 6 that's it. So here I am looking for answers as this happened to my new account, and the ea help just sent me to the forums. If all they can do is tell us to just "keep playing till you can buy a hero" I probably can't be bothered with the grind, I feel so disadvantaged only having 5 basic hero's

Agreed - I need a response as well. I just started this week and surely would have dropped cash over time on this but I didn't receive my last two starting heros - doesn't really leave me with confidence to keep playing.

It looks like the 4/11 update pushed out resolves this. After playing my first game post-update, I was offered my missing hero.

You're right - they finally fixed it!!! I played two matches with each of my missing heros unlocking after.
