Garden Warfare 2 - Garden Ops not working

I simply cannot join any match in the game. First it says "Finding the BEST match", then "found the BEST match!", loads for a minute, then proceeds to say "there was an error while trying to join the match. Please try again".
No matter how many times I try again, the result is always the same.
