Levels won't carry over between multiplayer and the backyard

So I've been playing a lot of Garden Warfare 2 on PC lately but only today have I ran into a big issue. When I gain levels on a certain character in multiplayer matches, the progress doesn't carry in...

Same with me, although if u customize them and reset your game, the levels usually comeback. Really weird.
