PVZ GW2 gets stuck in Splash Screen

Hey, I made a post in the official discord but no one has helped me there. The issue I'm encountering is while trying to load the game. I always get stuck in the loading screen with no progression after it signs me into the EA authentication thing, however that might be where the crash is happening because my username doesn't show up next to " Connecting to EA Services". Nothing moves, no music and there is no loading flower in the bottom right. I've been trying to trouble shoot for the last couple days, but nothing has worked. I uninstalled and reinstalled at least twice and I've updated everything that I could on my whole PC. IDK if this means anything but I did buy the game on Steam, and both EA and steam boot up when I launch the game. I've even rest my computer and redownloaded everything but that didn't work. I really don't want to lose the game from my childhood. Any help is appreciated, Thank you.
