Re: PvZ BFN PC - Issues With Game After April. 18, '24 Update

@EA_Shepard You have worked hard, thank you very much !Although the anti cheating system has been updated this time, the problem has not been fully resolved. I still cannot enter the game hall and have been stuck on this interface. The marigold in the lower right corner does not rotate, and after a period of time, it automatically returns to the original section and displays the following content。

    I am putting together issues relating to the update about the BFN Announcement. If you are running into issues on PC that started AFTER the Anticheat update, please list the following information below so we can pass this along to the team.

  • The anticheat installer is crashing for me, so I cant play the game. This only happens for this game and not GW2.
    And when I manually open the installer, there is no mention of battle for neighborville as an installation option.

    Plants vs. Zombies Battle for Neighborville hangs at secand "Backyard: Zombie Attack" loading screen. The Flower continues to cycle, but I never actually connect to a server. I have been able to play this game without issues until last week.

    @EA_Shepard After the EAAC update for BFN and GW2, OBS and other video recording software frequently lose capture of the game's video output. The screenshots often cannot capture the game image. And some performance monitoring software that acquires the game's FPS etc no longer works with GW2 and BFN after the EAAC update except the one from the NVidia. This is not just me but also happened to other people with completely different PC specs.

  • @EA _谢泼德 hi,my friend,I have something to report you,hope you can hlep me please.a few month ago my pvz Neighborville account has been banned by hacker who can use special technologies to change your character level to very very high value that unable to log in game,I don't know who did this,i had bought many pvz Neighborville's game accounts,but always play for a few hours later then my account has been modified maliciously and I can't log in game.The hacker have some illegal means to change your character level,I wish you can hlep me to fix my game account of pvz Neighborville,my many friends beacuse this hacker unable to log in game,this hacker jealous of our game talent,I hope to receive your reply as soon as possible.thank you!

    Hello. Neighborville!

    Since these issues were reported, quite a few have popped up. Long story short, the team has done just about everything they can to resolve all of the issues related to hackers, account changes, stat changes, etc.

    As you know, resources for this series are virtually nonexistent at this point. Therefore, we are no longer actively looking at accounts one at a time to resolve this.

    What does this mean for the community?

    If you are having an issue with being hacked, you need to reach out to support and get the account resolved. Unfortunately, support cannot resolve this one when it comes to the gameplay and stats on the account. We are all aware that when this first started and was escalated, it took months to get resolved, and right now, that is just not feasible any longer.

    If you encounter an issue with the game, please create a thread and be as descriptive as possible, with a thread title as specific as possible. If you see a thread already discussing the issue you have, post it there instead of creating a new thread. This will boost that thread's visibility, and if need be, we can escalate it with many players instead of just a handful.

    We will continue to sport the game from a technical standpoint if we can, but any account-related issues you run into need to be handled through live support so that they can also track them.

    I will clean up threads and merge those that are the same so we can get the board back in order. We all love this series and want to continue playing. We will still be around, but we still have many other boards to cover, and that also takes a lot of our time.
