On a PC with Nvidia Mother board and 4 GB of RAM - Intel icore 2 Quad 2.4 GHz and OS Windows 7 Professional 64bit / Device Manger check showing no device errors.
U-verse 28 Mbps Internet Service Connection; Speed checks all above 24 Mbps. No unusual Connection problems other than the normal lag or dropped connections depending upon time of night or day playing times produce different gaming experiences from few to no connection game lag to some.
Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare Launches into CONNECTION Connecting to EA Server into ERROR Failed to retrieve your saved data! Click [OK] no other option and into new screen ERROR Are you sure you want to proceed with no saving [Yes] [NO] choice. [NO] allows you to continue into game with continued prompts of the ERROR Choice coming up. Either choice has you setting up the game play as from when you first started playing. What I need to know is if my EA game is over? Obviously no player wants to loses 700 plus hours of game play advances. And I for one won't play or buy any EA games if this is something I can expect without any ability to fix it. I won't be starting over to play again. So please post the fix back to me ASAP.
And I did bounce around in your ANSWERS HQ looking for the fix before posting. Sorry if I missed where it might be at f one already exists.I wish there was a way to verify game cache.

I refreshed my WI-FI nothing worked, I even restarted my PC, still doesn't work.

I am also having the same problem.
I finally called EA support and the tech helped me fix the problem by uninstalling the game and Origin programs. Tech told me about Revo and had me download the free Revo Uninstaller Program, which cleaned out the registry for me for both programs. Easy to use and self explanatory. Then we reinstalled Origin using the PC DOWNLOAD Option (note you can also download for Apple and others OS from a different button in downloads) which hadn't been working prior. But now it was again and so I got it downloaded and installed. Then through Origin - Reinstalled my Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare, which took about 20 minutes. The tech promised me he would fix my issue and he did! It's working again. Now that I know I can count on Origin EA to stand by the games I buy from them, I'm going to reward them and buy Plants Vs ZombiesII.
