vote-kicking

Seriously why isn't this a thing??

the last 3 zombie ops games I got into had 1-2 team-mates find some ledge to just camp on while me and the other guy have to fight off the entire game by ourselves

  • Well the host can kick players so it's really up to them to kick afk players or players who just refuse to help out and do their own thing.

you cannot kick in garden/graveyard ops. The only place you can kick is if you are in the back yard.

Addendum:  You can kick players from an ops when in the lobby.  It requires a vote from the team leader and I guess at least one other player.  I've used it once or twice, and it used to happen to me sometimes back when I absolutely sucked.

they need to fix the loading in glitch. i don't know how many times someone gets stuck in there and the only way is to get lucky if it loads quick or you have to restart the game.

As @pandareno1999 said there is the ability to kick Players, but only from the Lobby and not from a game-in-progress.

To select to kick someone you must highlight their name in the lobby, press your Jump button (X Button for PS4) and then select the option for the "Kick Vote"

.At least one other person must also select to Kick before the Player is ejected so you must have two Kick votes.

Next time this happens to you if you're bothered that much simply let the Garden or Tombstone fall and then vote to Kick the lazy Players, or do so after your team is evacuated.

the thing was that when the round started it was just the 2 of us

then the 2 of them join and go hop up on a ledge where the ai can't see them we make it to wave 10 barley with only 50hp left the 3 giga torchwoods kill all of us he hits retry and they just stand their before the host ends the game after he dies

In that situation, I might have simply left the game much earlier if it was apparent I couldn't carry the game on my own along with the other guy.  If I really liked the other player, I might send them a friend request and a message that I was killing the game session and would invite them to a new game.

Yes it's terrible and yes Popcap screwed this up.

I've been in plenty of games where someone decided to just idle or fool around without playing the actual objective. But i have also been in games where i was the only competent person in the team and someone wanted to kick me after the round. It's a mixed bag with random people and the only useful solution seems to be to only play with friends. Which Popcap seems to have as ultimate solution for everything in this game.

And a simple kick would not be enough. I want a kickban to never see these kind of players again. Not to forget i would need a blacklist to ensure i don't accidentally end up in a game with them again. It's complex and falls into the quality of life category.

I've got to say that for me at least these things are only very occasional annoyances.  I very seldom have a problem with the randoms I find in my ops games.  Sometimes they don't quite know what they are doing yet, but that's ok.  Virtually every one of my PS4 friends was a random I met playing ops.  Generally speaking, I play on normal.  Perhaps this becomes more of an issue if you typically play hard or crazy where team competence or lack thereof can make or break a game.  Unless I'm playing a character I suck at, I can usually carry a normal game on my own (minus the challenge waves like vases or popsmarts if there are four players) if need be.

I am on ps4 and playing on normal, a lot of the "leavers" just play on higher difficulty for free money so they only play easy mode then hope into a normal/hard for free 51k to 75k coins
