The lack of online functionality behind Replanted's local features is very disappointing to many of us who have wished it for years.
Given how we have three months until release, please consider adding it. Local play is not as common anymore compared to when PvZ 1's ports released, and online became the standard.

PVZ replanted honestly doesnt seem like a massive improvement from the GOTY edition but if they add an online PvP mode where you can cue up against random people I could see it becoming a massive success and even reaching outside of the PVZ community.
if they add online support for co-op/versus, that would definitely make the game more fun then ever
I would HAPPILY fork $5 more for Vs and Co-op modes to be available online. Aldo an official level creator would print money like no one's business.

Exactly! Sure, mods could just do it, but that would only be for PC users, leaving the console players left out.
Yeah. Especially with online tournaments. Look at Mario Kart for the Wii, (homebrewing and such is why online for the Wii exists.) people still compete in that game on it’s online to this very day, now take that to a game also famous across PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo consoles.
Also they should add crossplay (you also should be able to turn it off and on incase of someone who dosent want to play on console with other PC players and on PC with other console players) it will be much funner for other Console players to play with PC players and with PC players with other console players
