Fix the musics.

Hey Replanted Team, thanks for seeing this suggestion and doing this work. I would like to see the musics getting fixed. The musics from the original version (GOTY) are dynamic and uses .MO3 for arranged musics.

All the musics stored in the game are just .mp3 audios. This is bad because all the PvZ Versions (excluding mobile and J2ME) has dynamic musics. The musics are .mp3 making it NOT dynamic and not engaging. Having .MO3 file would be useful because the game soundtracks is arranged.

Laura Shigihara said the musics will have added instruments based on the intense waves of zombies. This will avoid audio fatigue.

The way to fix it to use FMOD for the soundtracks and try to rewrite the soundtrack codes to add dynamic musics. This also require instruments files.

Why it has to be fixed?

To prevent audio fatigue.

Engage players to play more levels.

Adrenaline pushing feeling while playing.

Unity has wide comptibilities. So, please, consider fixing the game to make player engaged and buy the remaster.

Be competent and always read player suggestions, don't rush while developing and fixing the remaster.

Thanks PopCap and The Lost Pixels, I hope this message will be easily reached out to y'all with loves and warm greetings.

-Your beloved player.

Hi. Big fan of Plants vs Zombies from the day I initially played on Xbox 360. I have noticed one issue however. I personally have bought the Nintendo Switch 2 version of this game, and the dynamic music form the original seems to not be implemented or there is a bug preventing it from playing.

In the original, the more zombies there were, the more energetic that the music would get, adding drums and the sort. This is not present. This is really unfortunate.

I would be really happy if this could be added. The music is one of the best parts of the game.

    Cheers,
    Jacob

    13jenuiekmxb,

I agree. I am filing a bug report for the music right now.

    Cheers,
    Jacob

It's not a bug. They completely removed the dynamic music change and implemented the music in just a loop in full. I hate this change i prefer the old music better.

Hey everyone, I've merged all the posts about the dynamic music missing in one thread to avoid duplicates. I'll pass along the feedback regarding dynamic music, since it's a big one. Silver lining, the patch notes for v1.2 include this at the end:

But wait! There’s more! We are already preparing Patch v1.2.1 and expect to see this go live in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for a detailed update of the next patch, and thanks again for all your support and feedback, we’re just getting started.

Look forward to more updates as we grow, and we are particularly excited for several audio fixes that are already in motion. See you on the Lawn!

Keep in mind this isn't confirmed yet that this line is about dynamic music though, but it sounds like the teams are on the right path!

edit: EA_Pedro has confirmed on Steam that dynamic music will be added in a later patch 😎
