No achievements?

So i've recently played replanted and i've noticed something: i wasn't getting any achievements at all.
Now to be fair, i was playing without internet and i played by launching it manually via the file explorer because steam wouldnt really for some reason allow it. It didn't happen when i was playing it on steam though. I think that the achievement system being online-only instead of local like how it was in pvz goty edition kind of makes this game a little bit worse for me, as i LOVE getting achievements and such.
