PvZ Replanted: Quality of Life Features that Should be Added

With PvZ Replanted being a remaster of the original Plants Vs. Zombies, I am disappointed with the lack of minor Quality of Life (QoL) features within the game which are seen in other version of PvZ and other PvZ titles within the franchise. This is NOT a Bug Report Post.

- No "back" arrow in Zen Garden. To cycle through the different gardens, you can only use a arrow that is pointing to the right ("->") which is annoying when you're trying to move plants or cycle between screens. Please add a left arrow ("<-") so players can go back and forth without having to cycle through the other gardens/Tree of Life.

- Cannot purchase Zen garden plants other than Marigold at Crazy Dave's shop ("no buy a random plant option"). This is a feature seen within other ports of the game (for example, the mobile port) which makes getting the Zen Garden Achievement(s) more manageable. Please add the ability to purchase non-marigold plants to Crazy Dave's shop.

- No option to re-select or re-pick seeds that you previously selected. This is a wonderful QoL feature from PvZ 2, where you could press a button to select all the plants you used last time in a given level with the press of a button. I believe this also worked across levels (meaning you could press a single button to re-use a lineup across numerous levels). Please add some sort of "re-select feature", as this especially helps with Endless last Stand where you have to pick seeds dozens of times which is very laborious especially if you're just re-picking the same plants 40+ times.

I believe I explained these QoL features quite well, if there's some confusion, please let me know. Outside of bug fixing, Plants Vs Zombies: Replanted could really use some more general QoL features other than what I listed in order to make it the definitive version to play on.

I just realized I forgot three things in my initial post, but I believe other people have mentioned these somewhere on the forums:

    - There is currently no option to replay levels freely after completing all levels. I don't remember what versions of the original PvZ had this, but I know some version had a "quick play" option which let you level select, even after completing the adventure. Currently in PvZ: Replanted if you beat adventure or adventure+ (clear 5-10) you can't freely play levels you complete, rather you get reset back to the start of adventure (you only have access to level 1-1). Please add some form of replay or quick-play feature so you can play levels you already completed post-adventure and/or adventure+.

    - In R.I.P. mode, the guitar themed win sound is way too loud on victory. I've personally been startled by it a few times, but it would be nice if this was ~50% softer than what it is now.

    - Add some sort of option to allow for mouse/cursor hover to pick up sun versus having to click on each sun orb manually. To my knowledge, this has never been a thing on other PC versions of PvZ, but with the addition of a speed up slider in Replanted it would be nice to have such an option in order to make the game more accessible/manageable at higher speeds.

I have some ideas too. 4 to be exact. All for controller.

    1. The speed up button should have a reverse by pushing down the right stick.

    2. Shovel should have a speed setting. It is quite slow to shovel up plants sometimes.

    3. There is an obscure situation in which a catapult zombie can sqaush plants which are on the second to last tile and have pumpkin placed on them (the pumpkin has small hitboxes in the left and right tile so catapult is able to sqaush it as it’s technically in the last tile). Speedrunners have this problem and they use the mouse cursor to shovel the pumpkin. I don’t want to change existing gameplay so instead of making the catapult not crush the plant, I have a different idea. Instead, if a player shovels and then moves their cursor down, it will remove the pumpkin, and not the plant which is in it.

    4. Player is unable to pause the game in Zen garden, and Crazy Dave’s Shop. I use this to change volume and it was in the 360 version.
