When updates happen on our devices (Apple or Windows), it can be announced or done quietly behind the scenes without our knowledge. These updates may change the configuration on our devices, this is why it is important to follow the troubleshooting steps advice given here and also from Apple or Microsoft themselves.
🗺️The internet and browsers have fundamentally changed: Not long ago, browsers and devices were simple - you clicked and played. But that's not how things work anymore. Rather it is Windows or Apple device you are using the systems have become complex. How? More options, more security, more updates and more systems interacting with one another.
The modern web/browsers today didn't just “update”, they transformed in recent years. What used to be a straightforward has turned into a layered, highly engineered ecosystem. I know this isn't the simple "click and play" experience it used to be, and I wish it were different. But checking those settings and troubleshooting should get you back in the game. There are many possible combinations of settings, versions, and privacy rules, and any one of them can affect how a browser game loads or saves progress.
