As you can see in the attachment below, I have the first tomato and the last 2, but NO tomatoes have dropped from the crates, since the first seeds and I got those from next to the tomato vendor.
Like others I have been missing crates and not credited for all achievements. This is getting very frustrating to say the least. I do hope you reply to this just to let me know that you read it.
I reached level 50 and tomato seeds start spawning. I have now harvested tons of tomatoes, however I am noticing that I never had those "arrow cards", to upgrade the harvesting being spawn. I find it strange that by now not even a single arrow card was spawned, when in my earlier levels I remember being invaded with cards for the other plants / animals.
Two entire months to get tomato plants?!!! Well, at least I'll be prepared for the long wait. Thanks for always sharing information with forum members, MomZu! 👌👏👍
You will not get any additional tomato plants until you hit Level 50. Yes - that feels like a REALLY long time, and it is hard to believe the game is set up like this.

For me, I hit Level 45 8/17, Level 46 8/29, repaired the Tomato on Wheels 9/4, Level 47 9/7, Level 48 9/15, Level 49 9/30 , Level 50 10/18. Felt like a LONG wait for the dang tomato plants!
You are not alone.
Same here with the tomatoes. Book says I have first and last plant as well as the tomato. I have 2 first stage tomato plants and that's it.
