🔶At this time, crystals do not restore themselves automatically, only boxes and energy are capable of regeneration.

Crystals may appear throughout the game at times by opening up land, rewards and for purchase individually or through purchasing bundles. In short, crystals in Farm Merge Valley are earned or purchased, not regenerated.

"Came across an article that said this Timed Free Crystals – The game gives 5 crystals every 3 hours."

Farm Merge Valley is available on different platforms, and not versions are the same. This game is developed by CoolGames and is hosted on the Pogo website and others.
