Farm Merge Valley not saving progress

My game is saving again, I may have found a workaround. I've been playing on a PC using Chrome. Switching browsers didn't work, and clearing my cache didn't either. But I downloaded the Pogo app and played there for a while, then switched back to Chrome. Been saving ever since. Something was stuck in a loop; I think this broke it.

I suspect buying trees and rocks in the market may have started the problem, we shall see.

zonedstupor Uh Oh - I JUST started buying rocks in the Marketplace yesterday - using a PC on Chrome. (I read on the other Forums about how they are a great way to meet Energy goals in Daily Quest - for those who have saved up a bunch of Energy.) I hope that isn't the problem!
Just to add my update to the overall issue - It only happened 10/24, and it was in Merge Academy. Been screenshotting when I leave and when I return to both FMV and MA, and no more lost progress. Switch between laptop and iPhone.
