Farm Merge Valley took my upgrade

Last night I repaired my Loom Truck, moved stuff around and was happy with the result. This morning, the Loom Truck is NOT repaired, and the trees I had been working on to get supplies were not there.

If the game had just backed up to a previous position, I would have just been angry but resigned. Now I am FURIOUS! I had used energy to chop away at the trees, so those are gone, but so are THE TREES! To get more trees to complete the repair, I will have to open another area!

What is the solution to this? It is clearly nothing I can do on my end.
