Merge Academy - Bought Coins and Didn't Get Them

I just bought 100 coins in Merge Academy for 30 gems and it took my gems and didn't give me the coins.  This game has really been messed up recently.  And unfortunately EA doesn't give you any way to...

It took me a couple of times purchasing to realize I wasn't mistaken and did indeed lose gems and got no coins. If this issue is fixed, will we be getting our gems back? Gems are not cheap.
