Merge Academy - Timer set for 12 hours instead of 1 hour

Merge Academy, Surprise Event, with 2 days to complete.  But, the timer for the items to be merged is set for 12 hours until you can merge again.  It is not physically possible to finish 5 orders in 2 days if you can only play every 12 hours.  
Come on Pogo get your act together & set the timer where it should be...or, better yet, eliminate the timer totally!
