Hello! Sorry to hear about your loading issues in Merge Academy, I understand how frustrating that can be. I double checked the game on my end and it did load and play as designed. However - there have been a lot of updates on the site lately, when we see this at any time the first thing is immediately:
Clear Browser Cache and Cookies: This should be done every day if not every other day on a browser-based gaming site. Going a step further and deep cleaning your device never hurts either.
Why cache clearing helps with browser games:
- Your browser is still using old, stored files from previous visits
- Pogo's servers are sending new, updated information
- These don't match up, causing loading conflicts
Browser Updates: Most major browsers update every 4-6 weeks sometimes on their own, at other times it is waiting for our approval. It's always a good idea to check to see if ours needs updating - These updates can change how browsers handle website code and features. I am a windows user, and our devices here have gone through 3 updates this week, ugh.
Power Cycling: Unplug your router, let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then plug it back in (easy). Doing this once a week or even biweekly can make a noticeable difference. Many of us leave our routers running 24/7, giving them a break helps refresh the connection.
🖥️ The combo effect - When you power cycle AND clear your browser cache together, you're giving yourself the cleanest possible environment for browser gaming - fresh device memory, cleared browser data, and reset network connections!
