The amounts for the chance cards has also been substantially reduced! I play every single day and am finishing my 9th city and today say that the chance cards are approximately half of what they normally award. Please fix this. I have spent money to purchase gems in order to be able to double the larger chance awards, but I will not do so again until the awards are returned to the correct amounts. I was also forced to use a doubler the first game today and it was not returned as some other players said had happened to them.
Yes. A couple of days ago the maximum amount of a chance card was over 4,000,000 (my city is pretty far along). The last couple days the max is about 1,500,000. I am on my 14th city and have never seen this before.
I don't know how many cities I've built, but it's been a few. I do know that I have to win about 52,000 points in a day to get the bonus. I think the bonus may have increased but since the value of the Chance cards have significantly decreased, that's going to make it even harder to reach 52,000 points in a day. I've enjoyed this game but will part ways with it if the "gold" requires real $$ money $$ (or gems, which is essentially the same thing since there's no way to win a significant amount of gems in any of the games ... unless that's a new change too?).
UPDATE: I'm close to finishing my 6th city. I still don't know anything "official" about the GOLD, but it appears that it may be a way to speed up building.
Last night, I spent $200,000+ to build the next story of one of the hotels. It said it would take 11 or 12 hours (I forget exactly). When I got up this morning (and the hotel should have finished building), there was a message about not having enough gold. I had found where to buy gold in the market, but I'm not about to get sucked into that! Thankfully, during the day, the amount of gold needed went down ... and that particular hotel has JUST finished building ... about 6 or 8 hours after it should have been completed.
Today, just a few minutes ago, I purchased 5 point doublers which pogo was happy to take 30 gems for, and received nothing! Why did you have to "improve" a game that needed no improvement? Now it appears that the game is full of bugs!! I would like my gems returned. All of the changes you people are making to Pogo recently are not bringing in new people, they are running off long time members. You really need to fix it and soon.
