Tried new version of Canasta. It is unplayable - very slow! Should I assume it will be fixed or is there something I am missing?

The Pogo team is looking for more information about computers unable to play Canasta HD, whether that's loading issues, slow gameplay, or graphical issues. Part of that information is DxDiags (Windows) or System Reports (macOS) to help narrow down what may be occurring and to assist with optimizing the website. If you haven't already, please try the HTML5 troubleshooting, as it can narrow down if it is something that can be tweaked to run smoother on your computer. New version of Canasta is very slow and unplayable

The new canasta HD is really awful! I never wanted to play for rating, so I always pick the option for a quick match (unrated), and now it subtracts points every time I lose. Also the graphics are really stupid, slow, hard to read. Why did you have to mess up a good thing?

what is wrong with the NEW AND IMPROVED CANASTA GAME? It sucks!!!! It lags, it freezes, takes forever to receive the cards when they are dealt. Is this going to be fixed? I could go on and on with complaints about this game and my complaints are the same as many others. It must be the GAME!!!! The old Canasta game worked fine and I played it for 14 years! I will not be renewing my membership if they don't fix Canasta!!!!

@abcL3SffM897fg i am having the same problem thought my computer was to slow or something but the old version of canasta i had no problems at all this new version is really slow and freezes up on me also what is going on with this

Yes, it's certainly not an IMPROVED GAME! If you go to the Forums - Canasta you will see all the comments about this game. Everyone is having the exact same problems so it's not our computers! Did they even test this game before they launched it?

Was waiting anxiously to get Canasta HD and what a disappointment. It is so slow. The graphics are horrible. Impossible to play. What a shame !

@erm578 I have had this problem too and have given up! All the new games take an age to load and the flicking graphics are dreadful. Jungle Gin is just as bad. What is happening?

I have played canasta (the new version) and I played the original canasta and you just ruined the game it takes quite awhile to meld and discard. That means your partner gets pissed and leave the table because your going to slow and they don't understand. I used to play canasta to wind down, it just frustrates the HELL out of me now. it takes along time to talk to a person in the chat window. It takes about 2 min for the letters to come up in the chat window. IT IS SO FLIPPING MESSED UP. Pogo WAS NEVER MESSED UP LIKE THIS.

All new are so frustrating to play. They are too slow, or too complicated rules or too child-like. They are sticky so it takes forever to play a game. Now today flash game won't load. Empty flash casch, how?

I am not a novice. ( new rules not to be a novice?) I have been playing games on pogo for years. But now it is so frustrating, I am really thinking about resigning.
