Not receiving seed coins from Weret the New

When given a choice for "free rewards" in Weret the New, I always choose seed coins for my reward, since I play Merge Academy every day. I have chosen at least 50 or been given them for reaching a milestone and have received ZERO. Why offer something when you cannot deliver it?? It was much more rewarding when you could trade your POGIS for gems, and choose the reward you could actually receive. Is anyone else having this problem?

I believe the seed coins are the coins that are used in Garden Blast. For Merge Academy, they will look slightly different/smaller. There should also be a notation under each option that states which game they are for.
