@rosesank, Moving the jigsaw puzzle pieces in the Jigsaw Treasure Hunter game "should" be easy. When everything works properly, you just place your cursor over the puzzle piece you want to move, click and hold down the piece, then drag it to the place on the board where you want to place it. However, everything does not always work as it should. The thing to do is try to understand what is causing the game not to allow you to move the puzzle pieces.
This is an HTML5 game, so that might be related to the cause. It might be that the game won't allow you to continue if you have only 4GB of RAM memory on the computer or device you use to play the game. HTML5 games (or any games) work better with 8GB of RAM or more. If you are not sure how much RAM memory you if using a computer, follow these steps:
Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and type 'RAM'
Select View RAM Info
Check for a detail that says 'Installed RAM'
If you discover you have only 4GB of RAM, I suggest the next time you are shopping for a new computer, buy one with 8GB of RAM.
Next, if you use Windows operating system, the HTML5 games work best using Windows 10. Older Windows systems (7, 8, Vista, XP) do not always work properly with HTML5 games.
Another problem may simply be that the cache (memory) of your browser is becoming full and needs to be cleared in order to store new game information. When this happens, the games don't work properly, and usually slow down, freeze, fail to load or kick you out of the game. What you are experiencing sounds different, but you might want to clear the cache of your browser to see if that makes any difference. See the link below to a discussion on clearing one's browser cache with instructions on how to do it if needed.

Whenever I experience a new problem where clearing the cache does not help correct it, I switch to different browser to see if that helps. Sometimes it does help. Google Chrome is a good alternative browser and it can be downloaded for free from the Google website.
Finally, Pogo provides a troubleshooting guide for HTML5 games. Its lengthy but there might be something there that will help if none of the above suggestions help.
https://answers.ea.com/t5/Pogo-Classic/HTML5-games-troubleshooting/m-p/5761108#M158506 Puzzles pieces do not move or move so slowly and incorrectly as to be not worth playing. I am, as usual, using Chrome browser with Windows 10. Scan checks out everything okay. This is really tiring and trying--it seems like every game I choose to play on this "new and improved" site has something wrong with it. Won't be renewing again.

Pieces of puzzle are slow to react and then will not move to where I want them to go. Not first time for this issue. It is impossible to play.

@bat621, I played the Jigsaw Hunter HTML5 game this morning after another player reported a problem of being unable to move the puzzle pieces. I was able to move the pieces easily and finish 4 games to complete the weekly Wednesday challenge. I also used Google Chrome and Windows 10, so that is good to know that I used the same software as you did. Windows 10 is recommended for HTML5 games, so that is good.
Since Jigsaw Treasure Hunter is an HTML5 game, there are immediately some thoughts that come to mind on what may be causing this problem for you.
First, check to see how much RAM memory you have on your computer. If you have 8GB or more, then that's good and not the cause of your issue. However, if you have only 4GB of RAM , that might be contributing to the problem. The games operate more slowly with 4GB of RAM and moving the pieces may also not function as smoothly as they should. If you not sure how much RAM you have, follow these steps below:
Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and type 'RAM'
Select View RAM Info
Check for a detail that says 'Installed RAM'
Second, when the pieces or tiles of games do not move correctly, it could be from a result of "hardware acceleration" that is switched on by one's browser. This option is set to ON to speed up the game play, but sometimes this can cause graphic errors. I'm not sure this is the explanation in your case, but you can try to turn it off if want to try and see if that helps. In the troubleshooting guide from Pogo for HTML5 games, this topic is discussed near the top of the discussion under "Poppit (and other HTML5 games) graphical issues". If turning hardware acceleration off does not help your game, then I recommend turning it back on, because it is meant to make the games function faster.

Finally, one cause of slow game play and loading issues is when the cache (memory) of one's browser is becoming full. You might even be kicked out of game if the cache is becoming full. The browser needs room to store new information from the games and website to function properly. If you haven't cleared the cache of your browser recently, try that first to see if your game performs better. I have to do that often here. That is sad to say, but it does help. This issue affects HTML5 games, Flash games and Java games.
Hope there is some suggestion here that helps you. If not, write back and an EA community manager or other experienced game player might be able to offer more suggestions. Just a few days and hate it already. So many glitches and huge display is annoying. Jigsaw pieces jerky and won't place properly. Solitaire cards take several attempts to move properly. Will stop playing for a week or so to see if glitches ironed out. Most likely will not renew membership after 10+ years of paying to play.

@kathrynbrooks57.,I haven't experienced these problems but I have read comments from a few others who have had similar experiences.
I will make 2 suggestions. Maybe one of them will help.
First try using a different browser for a game when it doesn't work properly. Google Chrome is a good alternative browser to use and it can be downloaded for free from the Google website. I have some problems with a few games using Microsoft Edge but when I use Chrome, those problems don't occur. For example, when moving the dolls at the Trizzle game, the entire game board moves when I use the Edge browser, which is not supposed to happen.
2. If you have not cleared out the cache (memory) of the browser you are using recently do that. When the cache becomes full, the browser is unable to store more information and problems occur, such as slow game play, slow loading or failure to load, game freeze, being kicked out of a game, and sometimes other problems. Having difficulty moving the game pieces is not a problem I've experienced from a full cache, but it might happen.
If you need guidance on how to do this, click on the link below which discusses the importance of clearing your browser's cache, which instructions on how to do it for the major browsers.

thanks, tried 3 'supported' browsers before posting. actually, attempted ALL suggestions as they had already been posted as responses to others. was able to at least move the pieces today, although still annoying.
Jigsaw Treasure Hunter HD Cannot move piece on this game. Move one piece and the others come along with them. Tried playing on a touchscreen computer, cannot play at all. this game use to be easier on the old system. Cannot play this game, second time trying and it is a terrible game!!!!

@hatred668Your comment is starting to become a more common issue here with the Jigsaw Treasure Hunter game. You are experiencing a graphic error. Graphic errors occur more frequently with HTML5 games for some reason.
Pogo has provided guidance for troubleshooting HTML5 game problems, and it includes a discussion of graphic issues and hardware acceleration at the top of the discussion. Hardware acceleration is found in one's browser settings and it is used to increase the speed of games and programs that use graphics. However, sometimes it causes graphic issues, like you are experiencing.
Click on the link below to the Pogo HTML5 troubleshooting post. If you want more information on this, search "how to turn off hardware acceleration" for the browser you use.
https://answers.ea.com/t5/Pogo-Classic/HTML5-games-troubleshooting/m-p/5761108#M158506
If you turn off hardware acceleration in your browser settings, and it doesn't correct this problem you are having, then go back and turn hardware acceleration back on, because it does help make the games go faster. Also if you continue to have this problem, write back for other suggestions.
