Merge Academy seems to always have loading issues when there's a special event, then when they fix that it will not give you the game credit you had before it buggered up. every single time.

Hello! Sorry to hear about Merge Academy not loading for you, I know it can be frustrating for any game. You bring up a very good point about an interesting topic 🙂
"Merge Academy seems to always have loading issues when there's a special event"
Your right and technically it should, but we can prevent that.
If you played Merge Academy yesterday with no issue and today you see a new event and the game is acting up, there are mainly 3 reasons why.
Outdated cookies and cache: When Pogo (or really any browser-based game or site) starts behaving inconsistently—glitches, missing features, or inconsistent progress tracking, loading, etc., this often points to corrupted or outdated cached data. Over time, they get bloated or outdated, causing glitches and pages failing to load (even for one specific game).
Clearing your cookies and cache is one of the simplest but most effective ways to fix a variety of issues. This gives our devices a clear path to speak with Pogo servers.
Outdated browser: Since Pogo is browser-based gaming site, keeping your browser updated is absolutely critical for smooth gameplay. Patches/Updates can come in at any time and sometimes multiple times a week on our devices. If your browser isn’t up to date, it can block games from loading and cause a variety of other issues.
Device and Hardware: Like our browsers our devices as a whole can also get updates. With these updates they can optimize how our device uses memory and CPU, which helps with smoother gameplay. At times our devices can install these updates on their own in the background, at other times it may be waiting for our approval or need to be on during what is known as "active hours".
Double check for system and browser updates often.
Outdated or corrupted drivers often cause conflicts if you are using a Laptop or Desktop. At times they can update on their own, at other times we need to check to verify their status. Our device only performs periodic checks for drivers and might not have the most recent version. Verifying updates through the manufacturer is a good rule of monthly practice.
The next time you encounter a game that loads one day but not the following, keep these system checks in mind. They are usually quite helpful!
