Pogo Messages

I'm replying to a msg(short for those who dont know msg = messages) and at the end of the msg at bottom of page is this:  "Emojis are not supported" ... I'm on a computer, notta phone, my computer doesnt even have emoji's, ugh, stupid things, so stupid msg as far as I'm concerned, ugh. Have had that b4 and ended up emailing the person ..... maybe its because I mentioned a game viz  Pogo Addiction Solitaire .. I had said I dont find anything addictive about this game! But even so I had copied and pasted the the name of the game from the event its in! I'm not changing what I said to suit the 3rd  party msg ppl, ugh. Its a crying shame when we cant even have a convo with friends cos  ... whatever, ugh

well I've never used emojis anywhere, think they're stupid, lol but What I think triggered it to say I had was the TM next to the name of the game. I went back removed it from the msg then was able to send it!

Hello! Pogo's messaging system can be quite limiting, but there's a crucial reason behind it.

Sadly, there has been a notable rise in scam messages aimed at Pogo players, these fraudulent messages are masquerading as Pogo or EA support, attempting to deceive players into divulging personal information or contacting bogus phone numbers. You can find more information on this topic here: Staying Safe on Pogo: Protecting Yourself from Scams

Due to this situation, the messaging system employs filters designed to safeguard the community. However, these filters aren't flawless and can occasionally flag completely harmless content!

Regarding the game title "Pogo Addiction Solitaire" the term "Addiction" might be triggering the content filter, so you are not at fault whatsoever! Flagging a copy and paste at times can also happen.

To clarify for all readers: Pogo’s Message Center and its content filters are first‑party systems, fully owned and operated by EA/Pogo. The restrictions you see are part of the Terms of Service and User Agreement  every player accepts when creating an account, meaning EA/Pogo sets the rules and enforces them internally.

🌈Fun little tip — your computer actually does have emojis!

    • If you are on Windows, when writing/messaging - right click on your screen or form field, first option Emoji
    • On a Mac it is Command + Control + Space

I hope this information is helpful, and sorry you couldn't talk to your friend🌷🐈‍⬛
