Merge Academy will suddenly say it is trying to save the game about every ten or fifteen minutes. It fails to save and says try again. It fails again and says quit or restart. If you quit or restart all progress is lost including any merges from the last save. I have lost hundreds of energy as well as a large number of merges.
This occurs on Firefox, Google Chrome and Edge browsers.
As it stands now, this game is unplayable. Please fix this.

My browsers are always up to date.
My cache clears every time I close my browser. (I have tried using both Google Chrome and Mozilla. I have tried my ID and my spouses on different desktops.)
I restart my desktop daily.
I restart my modem and router weekly.
This has all been done between episodes and the game continues to fail.
As other users noted under Merge Academy post.
They only way I can be sure I don't loose items is to save frequently. When it goes into the save and fail, all energy is lost.
A user in Merge Academy post noted a time this appears to happen. I will test.
Doesn't work! It is a GLITCH/BUG in YOUR game!!! Fix it!!! Been happening since the game came online. Poor testing again!!!
Still happening - what, a week into the release now! Stop blaming players and do your job by actually checking out the problem in YOUR GAME!!!
Any updates on the fix for accepting the items in the first area?
I also have this problem. Have you found any kind of fix yet? It is not from needing to clean out my browser as I am diligent about doing that. I use Chrome.
I'm having the same problem. The game takes almost every thing I make, even out of storage. I don't see how you can make the 7,8th level books and wands when you keep losing your progress. Hope you have time to look into this. Have a Awesome Christmas.

Back again I have sent in 3 Screen Shot today to show you the problem. Here is the third now can you do something about this issue? I am getting upset with all the emails you are sending and nothing is done about the problem.

Me too! The tree doesn't stay up for use as is. I make as much of the wand needed and every time on bbjoard or in the storage closet, even purchased parts to try and speed up the process. All wands and wands in process disappear before I get to finish while waiting for the tree to recharge which takes an hour. What the x?

In the last couple of days, they seem to have made some changes.
They added the apple crate that seems to spontaneously generate new apples without using energy.
Edit: apparently we must be earning too much free energy. Since this last change, the meter only accumulates energy if Pogo is open AND Merge Academy is open. This would only work overnight if you don't put your computer to sleep. Oh yeah, for extra measure if you aren't playing the game for too long it will time / error out and that extra energy will disappear anyway.
GP on how to play. But it will have to wait until they fix this latest attempt to get us to pay to play. This is a little unfair as we are already paying for Pogo anyway.
I would like to know how to restart the level in Merge Academy... The spaces are gone and it always loads in the same position...
