Acquiring Trains, Is it really possible?

I enjoy using train stations and track layouts to enhance my cities. I’ve mostly used them to aquire assets I can’t find anywhere else. I’ve attempted to purchase additional trains several times. Each time I’m purchased a Train card, I recieved immediate confirmation acknowledging the purchase however, the next time I look I’m back to 0/15. My purchase vanished. Very frustrating. I think the train options and layouts is an overlooked opportunity for EA SimCity Buildit developers. 

Also, where in the hell can I spend the seasonal currency or golden tickets? I’ve been playing this instance nearly daily on my iPad for over two years, with a couple short breaks here and there. There’s a lot of opportunity to enhance and grow this product. But, I get the feeling its’ an unwanted step child in the EA portfolio.
