[Info] Ads missing or freezing after a break? Clear your Cache!

 Hi everyone,

This is my latest experiance about ads:

if you notice that ad buttons disappear ( I^showing only SimCash)or ads freeze at the end screenwithout an "X" button after leaving the game idle for a few hours, here is what is happening:

The Technical Cause:

When playing, the game stores temporary ad "tickets" (tokens) in its local cache. If the game stays closed for a longer period (e.g. 2+ hours), these tickets expire. Upon relaunching, SimCity tries to reuse these expired tickets from the cache, which the ad servers reject. This results in missing ad buttons or frozen end-cards.

The Quick Fix:

Manually clear the app cache in your device settings. This forces SimCity to purge the outdated tickets and fetch brand-new tokens from the server upon startup.

After clearing the cache, ads should run smoothly again right away!
