Challenges as a solo skater

This weeks challenges are just "**bleep** you for playing alone " it seems? I have no intentions of partying up or doing OTL, so i guess ill just have to deal with not doing most of the challenges because youve decided that im a loser?

What a pain in the **bleep** that probably doesnt affect that many people, but its still really annoying👍

Making multiplayer more rewarding without adding cosmetics is the exact issue I'm pointing out, and why I'm recommending single-player be handicapped if you want the same reward.

I have no problem with people playing multiplayer getting higher rewards.

You say this, but for those with level 10 on everything and all boxes unlocked, Rip Chips mean nothing past access to Grom or the Stadium, so the reward can't be extra Rip Chips. Tix are certainly more useful as it unlocks the pages in seasonal Skate Pass rewards, but again, those challenges update once a week. I'm sitting on 25k Tix waiting for the last bonus page to unlock, so an extra 50 Tix isn't a real reward for pursuing the OTLs.

If it can't be cosmetic in nature, and the Rip Chips/Tix are of practically no benefit, how is a higher reward possible?

My point is that encouragement of multiplayer focus is important to build the community, and that separating them into two tracks would allow for equal access to cosmetics like you're after, while simultaneously giving a purpose to multiplayer.

  • Ok wait, interaction with strangers in the forums doesn't bother you but interaction with strangers in the game, even if you can't hear them, does bother you??

MylezDheep, difference of intent. We all go on a forum to interact with other people. But we don't all play video games to play with people we don't know.

Being dependent of others can be frustrating, or extremely difficult for neurodivergent people for example. We know EA cares about inclusivity and accessibility, but adding this hurdle is just unnecessary.

Difference of intent?? The action is the same, interacting with strangers. Whether it's through the forums with text or through the video game through... skating together, how is one worse than the other? I fail to understand this.

As far as being dependent of others, you're meant to complete a common goal together. They are being dependent on you as much as you are of them.

When you decide to join a forum, you know there will be interaction with others. That's the whole intent of a forum. Playing video games doesn't necessarily mean you want to interact with others.
