DEVICE HUNG ERROR

Question

Hello! I´ve been trying to play the game for a while now but since i finished the tutorial (tried all different platforms, so could do it again and again.) the device hung error driver 58142 pops up everytime i even try to play the game. I tried everything, updating drivers, BIOS, even directory settings and nothing seems to work. I thought that it was an EA games problem, but EAFC and Apex work just fine, so i guess its not a temperature thing or a hardware problem.

Any ideas?

Not sure for certain but give Epic games and try and see if your able to get through the service. Either way it would seem that some way or another you have to connect your account to a EA service to get through the service.

Other than that idea wise I would say maybe make a alt account and see if you run into the same kind of session errors. note: Most people on the forums have posted that the game is heavy on the cpu intensity on the actually bottleneck, which could lead to that error. Not for certain but may have to do with the gpu or how the actual display is operating whther integrated or straight from the gpu. GLhf
